How to get started
- In Kavita, open Settings → 3rd Party Clients (OPDS) and copy your personal OPDS URL.
- Keep the URL private: it contains your API key. Do not post it publicly or include it in screenshots.
- In Sutra, choose Add Library, paste the URL, and connect.
- Open a book from the connected library. Full CBZ and DRM-free MOBI reading require Sutra Pro; EPUB and PDF reading are free.
Important limitations
- Only DRM-free files are supported. CBR archives and DRM-protected Kindle purchases are not supported.
- CBZ streaming depends on supported server endpoints and network access; downloading the file is an alternative.
- Generic OPDS catalog access should not be confused with Kavita-specific progress synchronization.
